
SG Partners has identified nine Leadership Styles that are important for teams to function effectively and efficiently. While it is important to have all Leadership Styles represented on a Board and Management Team, it is not realistic for an individual executive to be all, or even many of these Styles. Most leaders stand out in only one or two of these Styles and SG Partners can help you to understand the extent to which these Styles are represented on your teams. Rarely does anyone really know that all the crucial Management Styles exist in one team.
The Leadership Team Assessment incorporates a tool set developed by our partner OMG, using business language that helps businesses to understand how effective their people are in each of the Management Styles.
No other assessment was developed specifically to be used exclusively with this particular audience. No other assessment uses the nine Styles as the foundation for management team excellence.
These assessments are vital for informed team building, executive coaching and Management training.
We look at the individuals on your Management Team and assess them in two areas. First, we look at the nine Leadership Styles. These Styles are not teachable, learnable Styles as much as how each member is hard-wired.
We help you to establish a balance on your Board or Leadership Team by ensuring that you have all nine Styles covered and advising you about who should take the lead on various topics. If there are important Styles missing, you can make decisions regarding new appointments that will ensure your Leadership Team is balanced and working efficiently.
In the second phase, we review each Executive against 17 important Leadership Qualities. Most of the Qualities can be taught and learned so we point out the areas in which each Executive could further develop their Qualities.
